- Surrey & Sussex Police Cyber Crime Unit -
Surrey and Sussex police have a small Cyber Crime Unit that covers both force areas. The team are primarily responsible for investigating Cyber Dependent Crime. The investigations team is supported by individuals who are able to give expert cyber security advice to groups, organisations and businesses on request. This advice is taken from the National Cyber Security Centre and is designed to reduce online vulnerability. Ordinarily, advice is delivered in person to groups of more than 20 however, in the current climate, webinars or video conferencing have become the favoured method of communication.
